TREASURE TROVE: The Falcon Cloak... Nov 4th 2017, 15:00, by noreply@blogger.com (Tim Knight) APPEARANCE: A full-length cloak composed of giant falcon feathers.
POWER: When pulled around the wearer (and the correct magical phrase is thought), the cloak transforms its user - a round later - into a falcon. To all intents and purposes the falcon is just an ordinary falcon, but it retains the wearer's ability to speak (and cast verbal spells). The magical transformation holds for as long as the wearer wishes (providing they remain conscious) and can be reversed with a simple thought. FALCON STATISTICS: While the wearer retains her intelligence and wisdom, as a falcon she has the following physical statistics:
- INIT: 1; HD: 1d4 (4HP); AC: 14; ATT: +1 (1d4 dmg, claw)
WEAKNESS: If the cloak is folded or rolled, say for storage, it temporarily loses its magical enchantment and when flattened out again, or hung up, it will not regain its transformative powers for (1d6-1 x 10) +1d8 minutes (a duration known only to the gamesmaster). [Designed for use with Beyond The Wall, but suitable for inclusion is any old school D&D clone] |
