After 10 years, The Doctor's Daughter - Jenny - is returning to the Whoniverse, thanks to audio drama superstars Big Finish.
Jenny originated in the 10th Doctor television episode, The Doctor's Daughter, back in 2008, as an entity grown from the Doctor's stolen DNA on the war-torn planet of Messaline.
Of course, Jenny's Doctor Who DNA extends off-screen as well, actress Georgia Tennant (neƩ Moffett) is the daughter of Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison, and wife of David Tennant.
After her single appearance on the TV show, fans were eager to learn what the character got up to next and were convinced that such a promising and intriguing character would return.
We waited.
And waited.
And waited.
And finally, Big Finish has picked up the baton that the TV show wouldn't.
Jenny's story continues in a box set of four hour-long audio adventures next June (Stolen Goods by Matt Fitton; Prisoner of the Ood by John Dorney; Neon Reign by Christian Brassington; and Zero Space by Adrian Poynton).
The full-cast plays are available to pre-order now from Big Finish and you can learn more about Jenny: The Doctor's Daughter here.
